When Alfie was just 8 years old, he lost his dad to suicide. With no support available for him, he decided to build something that would help others in the same situation.

Launched in 2023, Alfie’s Squad is now the only UK charity offering face to face peer support for children and young people aged 6-17, and their families, who are bereaved by suicide.

Each week, up to 50 young members come together for fun, confidence building activities, giving them a safe space to connect, make friends, and know they’re not alone.
